Ribbon Carousel Challenge 2

Eeeeeek! I'm SO excited for this! This is my first week showing off a creation for the Carousel Crew. I will be posting along in challenges on the second and fourth weeks of the month and hopefully I will have time to play on the odd weeks too! :)
This week's challenge is to make a shabby chic card, layout or 3D project. Remember, ALL entries on the Ribbon Carousel Challenge Blog MUST have ribbon, lace, string, twine or basically anything that comes on a spool to be counted towards the prize! We will also be picking "Top Spool" for each challenge who will get a shout out on the blog! This challenge ends on Monday May 16 at 11:59pm Eastern time.

Here is my creation for this week. I actually love making shabby chic cards because it gives me the chance to pull out a bunch of embellishments. I actually don't embellish a whole lot on my other cards. I used a TON of ribbon items on this! I took the crotchet trim and threaded it with seam binding. Then I put a seam binding double bow on this. And then I took a button and threaded it with burlap string and tied a bow. That's FOUR things that come on a spool!
Check out the Ribbon Carousel Challenge blog for the rest of the DT's samples and to link up your creation! Have a great day everyone!

I don't embellish that much either except when making shabby stuff.
