EtsyInspired Challenge #45 ~ The Daily Pincushion

This week's EtsyInspired shop is The Daily Pincushion. I find this shop absolutely divine! I've been drooling over all the beautiful work in this shop all week! I'm so glad to be doing the post and bringing all this gorgeousness to your attention.

I didn't know all the beautiful things that could be done with felt before I found Etsy. I just thought it was for children's puppets and stuff like that. I never dreamed that you could make all sorts of pretty things like the pincushions in this shop! I love the texture that the felt offers, the lovely colors, and and how it looks when it's stitched.

Cathy is the owner of this shop and I have to say, she has an amazing eye for color. The color combos that she puts together are perfection! I'll be coming back to this shop any time I need a color combo. The flowers that she puts on her pincushions are beautiful and so detailed. This shop offers pincushions, mini pincushions, Emerys Sharps (to keep your needles sharp), gift tags, and a variety of felt if you'd like to give felting a try for yourself.

This week, The Daily Pincushion is offering up this awesome Pink Dogwood mini pincushion as a prize. This retails for $15. It's so cute! I wanna learn how to sew so I can have some of these pincushions! But I might just buy some for gift for people who can sew.

All you have to do to win is go to The Daily Pincushion shop. Take a look around and find inspiration in any of their gorgeous creations. You can make anything your little heart desires ie a card, layout, cake, drawing, song, etc... Post a picture to your blog or online gallery and leave a link right here on this post by next Friday July 24 by noon Pacific time to be entered in a random drawing to win. If you upload to SCS or PCP, please use keyword EIC45. Now, go be EtsyInspired! (I've missed saying that!)

Here is my card for this week. I was inspired by the beautiful flowers and amazing color combinations in this shop. I haven't done a Dahlia fold card in a long time and I had a toddler running around so it's not as tight as I would like. The designer paper is Stampin Up. I added some faux stitching to the edges.
