Happy Friday everyone! It's the start of the weekend! Woohoo! Did you have fun at Hip Hop yesterday? I did!I have a couple cards to share today. This first one is for Unity's Think Green challenge, using anything found in nature and for this week's SCS sketch challenge. The stamp is from Unity September KOTM, my favorite KOTM. :) I really wanted to go with a pink, green, and brown color combo. I just got Fruit Punch Stickles from Limelight. I couldn't wait to try them out, they are so bright and gorgeous! The DP is Amy Butler. I added some rhinestones. And I did some doodling around the edges. I really really like how this card turned out. These colors just agree with me!
This next card was for this week's Clean and Simple challenge on SCS. The challenge was to use distressing which to me, isn't really a CLEAN and simple technique but I gave it a try. I think it turned out pretty well. This card uses Unity's Feel the Joy which I got some images from my pal Dawn. I used some Chocolate Chip ink to sponge over the image to give it a more distressed look. I used my Cuttlebug Forest Branches folder for the Close to Cocoa paper.

B-u-tiful cards! I like the distressed look.. and that stamp just goes with the simplicity of the card! And who doesn't love those Unity tree's and stickles... gotta love em!

ReplyDeleteThese cards turned out really great I love the colors on the first one and well you know me and brown but believe it or not I actually posted a mostly brown card today!!! It about killed me but I really did it!!!
