Hi friends! I hope you are doing well! We are ok. Sadly, I didn't make it through my first day at home with the kids by myself. After lunch, I got overwhelmingly tired and D had to work from home and I took a 3 hour nap. I'm hoping I was just tired for all the July 4th celebrations. Fingers crossed that today is a better day.
Today, I want to extend an invitation to all my friends to come Flutter for Unravel with us in September. Last year, we took the leap and bought a Flutter kit. We snuck around and went to tons of houses of friends and strangers and collected money for Unravel Pediatric Cancer. We gained so much momentum. There were days when I wanted to quit but we had SO many people cheering us on that we just couldn't. Our family raised $1774. Our original goal was $500 and I was afraid we wouldn't be able to reach that.
We taught our children about service and taking action when you see that something isn't right. We taught them that even as kids, they could help other kids. We made so many amazing memories! My kids asked for months after it was over to go out Fluttering. They told me they missed it.
I want you all the consider taking this leap and doing this with your family. You can even get a friend and go in on one kit together so you're each only responsible for 2 weeks. Help raise money for Pediatric Cancer which is the #1 killer of children in the US but gets less than 4% of the government funding for Cancer. Seven children die everyday from cancer. Here's your chance to help in a fun way. You can purchase your Flutter Kit HERE. Brady even drew a picture last year to show you how easy it is. :)
