My friends Annette and Tommy just got engaged and I'm so happy for them! Saturday was their engagement party and I wanted to make them a card. The thing is, I've never made an engagement card before. Isn't that crazy?So, I took Friday's Limited Supplies challenge on SCS and used it for this card. The challenge was to make a card in less than 30 minutes. Ack! But most of my stuff has been coming together fairly quickly lately so I gave it a go.
I wanted this card to have a "something blue" theme. The stamp is from Studio G. I put Stickles on the diamond, OF COURSE! It has to sparkle! And I colored the ring part in with glittery gel pen so it sparkles too. The ribbon says "True Love" on it so I thought that would be a pretty and sweet touch.
So, now I've conquered my first engagement card and hopefully will have more to do in the future. I guess this could easily be a wedding card too. Happy Tuesday everyone!
