But if you know me at all, you should know that today is a day for celebration! I am a strong believer in equality for all people. I admire people who can overcome adversity to aspire to greatness. And I find a lot of hope in this nation as today we make history. It fills my heart with joy to look at my mixed race son and know that he can be ANYTHING he wants, even the president.
Hi Ashley! This is a wonderful card to remember today. I am just as filled with joy as you are today. It's almost 10pm here in Germany and I'm trying to stay up for the ball but I doubt I can stay up that late.

I am glad I am not the only one that was extremely moved by Inauguration Day, and Barack Obama becoming President. :) Brady would make an awesome President! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the card! Yes, it was a very historical moment and even though I'm live halfway around the world in Australia, I was still very moved by the occasion. Congratulations USA on your new President!!
