And here are some little cards I made for the Valentine's Day card drive that Pat is doing. Are you all in on this? There's massive blog candy to be won. BUT really, you wanna make those sweet little sick kids smile. I know you do!
Here I am testing the theory that if I make animals pink and red, they are automatically in the Valentine's Day spirit. But I don't think these are boyish enough. Any thoughts on how to make more boy friendly Valentine's? Anyone?
PS I am currently over at HIP HOP on the Unity forum, come say hi!
Oh my word! Look at that blueberry monster! LOL!
ReplyDeleteAdorable cards!
Looks like FUN times ahead! :-) Adorable!
ReplyDeleteAwww so cute! I think your cards are cute!!
ReplyDeletewhy would anyone pelt your boy with blueberries?
ReplyDeleteand...
to make a valentine's day card more boyish, you need to stamp this on the card, "this is a boy's valentine's day card"
love.
I see a new card series in the making - the adventures of the blueberry monster! A real cutie! My boys are a bit neater, finally, at 12 & 6, but they still have their days.
ReplyDeleteHe'll love you when he's a teenager! I joined Pat's card request, thanks for posting it, it's a super idea!
ReplyDeleteHello Ashley,
ReplyDeleteHow totally cute are these cards??? I looooooovvvve the Giraffe one girl it is totally adorable!!! The Elephant is pretty cute to though!!!
I think Boy Valentines could be in Blue and Red if you want them to be. But it is Valentines so I think that Giraffe Card would be fine for a boy!!!
Thanks so much for sharing Ashley I love them!!!
Woooo hOOOO on the 17 weeks pregnant are you gonna find out what your having???

I would suggest (from personal experience) not letting him have any blue fingerpaint since that stains even the bathtub and you have to move to get rid of it!
ReplyDeleteYour cards are great. Maybe pink and red trucks would work better for a boy? ;)
That's a Great shot of your little guy. I love your cards!!! As a mom of three boys and one girl, I suggest red & white(anything) with lots of red hearts for boys Valentines.
ReplyDeletebut he's such a cute little blueberry monster. :) Love the cards, Ashley! they're really cute! and I think boyish valentines are hard. maybe add some black or silver? These are great though!

ReplyDeletecute cards and an even cuter monster!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up! And I love Brady's picture - adorable. I think that will definitely make a scrapbook page, eh? I adore the valentine's cards you shared. Depending on the age of the boy, those would work great. Do you have any older boy-toys stamps? You could do the same with those.
