Are you ready for confession time? I'm beginning to think that I'm not ready to be on a design team yet. I've applied to a couple places and have not been accepted. But that's only part of the reason. I feel like on any given day, I only really LOVE about half of the cards I make. Sometimes, I feel like I should just toss them in the trash bin. There are a few that I haven't posted anywhere. I haven't thrown any away, but I've been tempted.
So there it is. My little confession. And I'm not fishing for compliments or even support. I'm just putting it out there.
This is a card I made today. I added it because just plain text is boring.
Ash, please don't be too hard on yourself! Your time will come! And, I don't think you're fishing for compliments! But, I think your card is fantastic! I love the layout, the coloring, and the colors! Keep your head up...

ReplyDeleteAshley, you make cute stuff. I was on the design team for Stampendous for 5 years and have taught classes for 11 years. One thing I learned is you never know what people will like! You just need to find the company that fits your style. Submit a bunch of stuff to magazines, companies like it if you have bee published. Don't give up :)
