Many of us have paper punches for our cards, tags or scrapbooks. I've found that after a few dozen uses (yes, I use mine a lot) the punches start to get dull. The shapes aren't as crisp as they should be and they start sticking so it's hard to get the paper out.
Here's my handy dandy tip. To sharpen your punches, try cutting through some aluminum foil. You can even reuse old foil, just rinse it off so there's no food on it and cut away. Then to lube up your punch so that paper slides out easily, punch through some wax paper. The wax gets in there and it helps to loosen things up and get them moving again. Hope you enjoyed this tip.
