Mistake Monday 7-14-08

Just a tiny little "duh" tip for anyone who makes or orders photo cards.  Make sure the size of your card matches the size of the print you will make.  You can do this by checking the size, in inches, in Photoshop or any other photo editing software you might use.

For example, do not have your husband help you design a 4x6 birth announcement for your adorable son only to try to print it out at 5x7.  Major cropping will occur, it might even cut off the end of his name so that people will think it's Brayde and you might have to re-order an entire batch of announcements.  Then, you'll have to wait for them to arrive meanwhile half your friends and relatives don't know what your baby looks like.  And you wouldn't want that to happen to you.  Trust me!  ;)
