My Goal

I think it's about time that I expressed my new career goal and "put it out there."  I figure, it can't hurt to express it in writing so that other people know AND so that I could be held accountable.  So, here goes.

I would like to work towards being a member of a design team preferably for cards.  I can do tags, scrapbooking, etc... however I really think that cards is where my speciality lies.  It can be any company really.  I would really enjoy if it was a smaller company where I would be helping to support PEOPLE not a faceless corporation to reach their business goals.  But even just for fun like on a collaborative blog would be awesome too.

Here are the steps I am currently taking:

1. This blog.  I figure it's free for me to put my pictures out there and also explain why I did what I did.

2. Networking.  Meeting people from local shops, talking to people who work at stamp companies, overall just meeting people with similar interests.

3. Sharing my work on different sites like SCS and Etsy.
