New Thank You Cards

My lovely friend, JennyBunny of JennyBunnyCreations, sent me a lovely package with earrings (which I did not do a great job photographing, btw) and bread when I was feeling down. She's a lovely friend. I wanted to send her a little something for all the kindness that she's shown me. I didn't want it to be some boring generic gift that I could give anyone. I wanted it to be special and wonderful like her. So, I came up with the idea of making thank you cards for her business. I think it's always nice to get a little card from someone thanking you for your order.

I was creatively blocked for a LONG time with all the stresses that I have going on right now. But I kinda had an idea I wanted to get across. I wanted it to be pink and black. I wanted it to say thank you. And most importantly, I wanted it to have a bunny on it.

I really struck gold with the bunny. I thought I would have to settle for something cartoony and cutesy, but I found a very realistic stamp of a bunny. That made me very happy. The card stock was a bit more of a challenge. I couldn't find the exact pink I wanted. I guess, in hindsight, I should have used a purpley fuschia but what can I say, hindsight is 20/20. And by golly, black card stock is expensive. Which is really annoying! I might have to start ordering it online. I also tried stamping the bunny on a printed background but that kinda made it look like crud instead of being super cool like some cards I've seen.
